The Child Online Protection Initiative has been run by the Foundation since it was created in 2014, according to Mr. Emmanuel Adinkrah, Chief Executive Officer of GISF.

I must state that GISF is proud to cooperate with WiCyS West Africa because we both share the goal of eradicating all risks associated with exposing children to the negative aspects of the Internet.

Schools, companies, foundations, governmental organizations, and people who care about the safety of their communities and loved ones are among the partners of GISF, according to him.

The Chief Executive Officer stated, “We present pro-social, restorative, and respectful approaches to these challenges as we apply to varied disenfranchised populations, acting as a public media voice concerning online security, online sexual exploitation, sexual abuse photographs of child victims, and social media.

He claimed that GISF has an outstanding reputation for providing relevant, research-based information and practical resources via its website, article database, blog postings, and social media contributions to raise the necessary awareness.

According to WiCyS West Africa Affiliate President Mrs. Olayinka Naa Dzama Wilson-Kofi, the organisation is a member of WiCyS Global, a community that promotes female equality while assisting in the development of a robust cybersecurity workforce.

She said that it helps women get hired, find mentors, get career advice, stay in their jobs, and grow in the cybersecurity industry.

According to her, the GISF and WiCyS West Africa Affiliate both welcomed the new cooperation and expressed the desire to collaborate in order to accomplish their shared goals regarding online safety issues.

As part of its aim to increase the number of women in cybersecurity through cybersecurity awareness, which involves protecting the vulnerable, particularly women and children online, Mrs. Wilson-Kofi said it was an honour to cooperate with the organisation.
